BSN to DNP-Nurse Anesthesia admission requirements:
- BSN degree from a CCNE, ACEN, or NLNAC accredited program.
- Current licensure as an RN in Texas or hold a compact license with multi-state privileges that includes Texas.
- GPA from Last 60 Hours of College Coursework: 3.0.
- GRE requirement: Graduate Record Examination (GRE) taken within 5 years of preceding application.
- Three professional references.
- For international students, TOEFL minimum requirements: Paper examination: 550 or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score minimum: 6.5, taken within the last 2 years.
- A completed basic statistics course with a grade of 'B' or higher taken within the last 5 years.
- A completed Organic Chemistry or Biochemistry course with a grade of 'B' or higher taken within the last 5 years.
- A minimum of one year of work experience in critical care as a registered nurse is required, with two years preferred (experience in the Emergency Room/Urgent Care is not considered critical care). - A completed application must be submitted before the application deadline. Admission staff review and the top applicants are invited to interview and submit a writing sample. All fees are accessed through the NursingCAS application. The School of Nursing Application Fee is $45 and is non-refundable. The NursingCAS fee is separate and is .
